Sebastiaan Foppema

Sebastiaan Foppema is a strategic leader who has over 20 years of global experience in technology, healthcare, and institutional investments with a proven track record for building, transforming and managing teams that deliver business results. He has extensive management experience across business development, sales, operations, and professional services.

 

Prior to instED, Sebastiaan was the Chief Executive Officer of SmartShift Technologies, a leading enterprise software management company, where he grew the business and secured multi-year agreements with Fortune 100 companies, including Airbus, BMW, Proctor & Gamble, Corning, Nestle, and NBC Universal.

Christopher D. Palmieri

Managing Director

 

Christopher D. Palmieri has a 20-year track record leading and growing provider-sponsored managed care organizations, with a keen focus on government-funded managed care programs.   

 

In addition to his leadership role at instED, Chris

serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Commonwealth Care Alliance, a prepaid care delivery system that insures and provides enhanced primary care and care coordination for Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries with complex physical, medical and psychosocial needs. CCA has earned a national reputation for its many healthcare innovations in serving this population, and instED is another extraordinary example. 

 

Prior to joining CCA in 2015, Chris advised private equity investors about healthcare technology, and served as CEO of Remedy Partners, a national bundled payment company in Darien, CT. Chris also served as President and CEO of VNSNY CHOICE Health Plans, successfully transforming it into a $2 billion safety net insurance organization offering both Medicare Advantage and New York State Medicaid Managed Care products.
